I’m Joe.
I’m currently living in Wales, though I’m not Welsh. Though that doesn’t stop sheep shagging jokes on every forum.
I got into metal about one and a half years ago. Basically alot of my close friends liked it, but I still reckoned it was noise. I then saw DevilDriver on Scrubs, and a mate played me Sabaton about Christmas time 2006. I was hooked. I went through the Lamb of God/DevilDriver/Throwdown/Groove metal stage, and came out the other end, into the joys of death metal (and the occasional power/black/other metal) thanks to the knowledgeable lads and ladies at Ultimate Metal Forums.
Now I enjoy metal, and other stuff in equal amounts. So yeah. I’m as likely to be listened to Abominable Putridity as I am The Monkees, or Iron and Wine. My tastes are pretty ‘eclectic’. See. There’s a reason for the title.
